🔧 Job Opening: Test Technician

📍 Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)

📅 Duration: 06 months [Contract]

We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team! You will help configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server systems and ensure validation infrastructure is always ready for testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain server test hardware and infrastructure.
• Swap processors or hardware components as needed.
• Keep systems updated and test-ready to support roadmap schedules.
• Work under pressure and multitask across projects to meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of PC validation/testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of MS Windows and Linux OS (installation, configuration, command-line usage).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with PC architecture, peripherals, and subsystems (Memory, PCI-E, USB, SATA, Ethernet).
• Experience with x86 architecture.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• OS installation, setup, and troubleshooting (Windows and Linux).
• BIOS configuration and device driver installation.
• PC hardware setup: processors, hard drives, memory, and network cards.
• Experience with multiprocessor platforms (workstations, servers).

Additional Expectations:

• Ability to accurately follow technical instructions.
• Strong written communication skills (emails, documenting test results).
