In this capacity, you will provide excellent marketing support to the multiple aspects of the Measurement Solutions Technical Communications Group, including but not limited to creating a clear written material (technical documentation) in support of the organization’s marketing programs in accordance with Emerson established editorial and style guides. This gives you a very vital role in crafting the customer’s experience with Emerson and the solutions we offer.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Marketing, Communication Arts, English, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3 years cumulative experience in technical documentation or development of any marketing collateral in an advertising, publication, shared services or equivalent industry.
• Basic knowledge in XML Editor, CCMS administration, HTML, CSS, Client/Server Application
• Intermediate knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite ((i.e. FrameMaker, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator)

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Create and update content by encoding XML on DITA files.
• Edit documents (e.g. Technical Notes and Configuration Data Sheets) using appropriate editing tool.
• Coordinate with the stakeholders on content approval and publishing/posting of documents.
• Create and monitor the completion of a standardized approval workflow for technical documents using appropriate tools.
• Maintain the photo library, logos, drawings and other design assets.
• Check and validate Emerson Branding concepts and design on all technical documents for consistency for both internal and external customers.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of updated technical documents. Escalates issues making sure issues/requests are resolved appropriately and on time.
