Summary

Job Description:

  • Sales Solutions (SSo) is the IT department in charge of all IT systems providing transport tickets and related sales, validation and inspection tools for customers and employees. Applications/systems in scope of the department are:
  • Mobib cards, transport tickets and validation machines used by the customers to pay for their transportation and get access to vehicles;
  • Sales channels (GO sales automates, web sales applications, client sales applications, sales tools for commercial employees) enabling the acquisition of transport contracts by the customer through a variety of channels;
  • Back-Office applications managing all customer data and sales processes including inter-operability with other transport operators in Belgium.
  • More specifically this person would work for the SSO Service Management team that target to improve services offered by the department to our clients by solving incidents, analysis and solving problems as well as giving guidelines to new projects and development.


We are looking for a technical analyst, specialist in database management, to contribute to :

1. Database Development:

  • Schema Design: Support the Creating the structure of the database, including tables, relationships, and constraints.
  • Writing & Tests SQL Queries: Developing or support the development of queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
  • Scripts: Creating and checking scripts to automate recurring tasks.

2. Technical Support:

  • DB technical Support: Helping users resolve issues related to database usage.
  • Maintenance: Updating and fixing incidents to ensure service continuity in the existing back-office platform (TBO)
  • Release management: preparation and deployment of DB Installation package
  • Scheduling : scheduling of redwood job for the entire department
  • Analysis : Analysis of data flows, transactions, incidents & problems linked to data or databases…
  • Interface management: with other databases or back offices

3. Data Management:

  • Data Quality: Checking and improving the accuracy and consistency of data
  • Data Migration: Transferring data between different systems or DBMS versions.
  • Data Correction: correction of data in order for scripts/flows to perform adequately

4. Project :

  • Analysis related to back offices data synchronisation / cleaning vie queries and scripts
  • Development, test and implementation of such synchronisation/ cleaning scripts
