About The Role

We’re looking for a seasoned Technical Project Manager to own the execution and delivery of software projects. You’ll work closely with the Head of Engineering and cross-functional internal teams to drive sprint planning, execution, and release readiness. While occasional external collaboration may happen, your primary focus will be managing internal product and engineering delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Plan, manage, and track sprints and product releases using Agile/Scrum methodologies

🔹 Lead all Agile ceremonies—daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives

🔹 Work cross-functionally with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure alignment and momentum

🔹 Remove execution roadblocks proactively and maintain consistent sprint velocity

🔹 Collaborate with the Head of Engineering to allocate resources and prioritize effectively

🔹 Own project delivery timelines, and ensure milestones are met with high quality

🔹 Track progress and performance using JIRA, Asana, Basecamp, or similar PM tools

🔹 Prepare clear, structured documentation for all phases of the project

🔹 Conduct regular risk assessments, flag bottlenecks early, and drive resolution

🔹 Champion a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and accountability across the delivery team

What We’re Looking For

✅ 8+ years of experience managing end-to-end software development projects

✅ Strong experience in Agile and Scrum practices, including sprint execution and backlog management

✅ A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

✅ Hands-on technical understanding in full-stack environments (preferred)

✅ Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and ops teams

✅ Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and a problem-solving mindset

✅ Familiarity with project tracking tools like JIRA, Asana, Basecamp, or equivalents

✅ Experience working in EdTech or SaaS product companies is a major advantage

✅ Must be based in Chennai or willing to relocate
