Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives spanning product, infrastructure, digital, and enterprise IT. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, seasoned in agile development environments, and capable of managing multiple technical teams while ensuring alignment to strategic business goals. A background in software engineering and program delivery is essential, and experience in payments or e-commerce is a strong plus.

This individual will own the end-to-end lifecycle of programs—defining roadmaps, coordinating execution, tracking risks and issues, and communicating with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic technical initiatives from inception through delivery, working across scrum teams and business units.
  • Align programs with company objectives and guide execution to meet measurable goals.
  • Organize, plan, and track digital, infrastructure, and enterprise technology programs—including those involving digital supply chain, payment systems, or e-commerce platforms.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives) to promote accountability, velocity, and team alignment.
  • Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders; proactively manage dependencies and remove roadblocks.
  • Lead all aspects of program execution: scope definition, planning, tracking, risk management, and communication.
  • Identify cross-team risks and develop mitigation plans; follow through on closure with clear ownership and accountability.
  • Communicate program status, escalations, and recommendations to senior and C-level stakeholders with clarity and transparency.
  • Foster strong collaboration across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and IT teams.
  • Establish best practices for program management and delivery efficiency within a scaling organization.

About You

  • 8-10 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Engineering Program Manager, preferably in a high-growth tech environment.
  • Proven success in managing large, complex, multi-team initiatives with clear business impact.
  • Prior experience with payments, e-commerce systems, or digital programs is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and managing multiple time zones effectively.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; a Master’s degree or certifications (PMP, CSM, SAFe) is a plus.
