We are seeking a qualified and experienced Technical Manager. The Technical Manager will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the plant and managing a small team. This includes managing preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery, ensuring that all equipment is operating efficiently and safely. The position will also oversee both plant and building services, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

·      Implement and execute planned maintenance

·      Ensure regular checks and maintenance are being done

·      Oversee the daily functioning of machines, making full use of the plant software and data available

·      Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and assist team in performing repairs as needed

·      Ensure accurate records are kept of all maintenance activities and always work to high safety standards

·      Communicate with the Plant Manager to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled and executed efficiently within plant operations

·      Collaborate with the Plant Manager and other team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction

·      Maintain an accurate inventory management system

·      Coordinate with external contractors to schedule repairs and maintenance

Requirements:

·      Experience of managing a team, ideally in a similar environment

·      Qualified engineer and/or electrician

·      Strong technical skills and knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

·      At least seven years of relevant experience

·      Fluent in English and Cantonese
