Position Overview
The Technical Operator is responsible for managing and maintaining the technical installations used throughout the Astra Lumina experience. This individual will ensure that all technical systems, including lighting, sound, video projection, and electrical components, are functioning smoothly before, during, and after the event. They are the primary contact for any technical issues and must coordinate with international technical teams as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and activate all technical installations (lighting, sound, projection, cameras, fiber optics, electrical panels) at least 1 hour before the event starts.
Conduct pre-event technical checks and maintenance to ensure seamless operations throughout the event.
Oversee and monitor the technical aspects during the entire event and resolve any technical issues on-site.
Communicate directly with the international technical team to resolve any technical problems.
Perform regular maintenance and suggest improvements to ensure the longevity and smooth running of equipment.
Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, taking preventative measures to avoid disruptions.
Qualifications
Proven experience in technical operations, preferably within multimedia shows or immersive experiences.
Strong technical knowledge of lighting, sound systems, video projections, and electrical installations.
Proficiency in English is required to communicate with international teams.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Ability to work night shifts and adjust work hours as needed.
