Job Summary

This position is of Technical Content Writer for Telecom products. Enterprise Access Points, Home Mesh Routers, Unlicensed Band Radios, 5G Fixed Wireless Access CPEs, 5G Small Cells, IP/MPLS Routers, Enterprise & Campus Switches, and EMS/NMS. Required Experience

The Technical Writer shall have relevant background in developing User Manual, Release Notes, Installation & Troubleshooting Manuals in one to more of telecom product domains for 2 years or more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
  • Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
  • Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards
  • Gain deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content
  • Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience, turning insights into language for user success
  • Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
  • Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement
  • Drive a unified content strategy, content development best practices, and delivery and feedback mechanisms in the team.
  • Identify the significantly complex information needs of target audiences, develop appropriate content plans, and manage the execution of those plans.
  • Create high-quality technical content for complex product and solution deployment needs.
  • Contribute towards strategies for enhancing content quality, usability, and next-gen content offerings.
  • Ready to operate the products to have first-hand information on what should be captured in the manuals.

Qualification

Required

  • Excellent Technical Writing Skills
  • Proficiency in writing GUI & CLI documentation
  • Experience in working with engineers to improve user experience (ex: design, UI), refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
  • Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
  • Good understanding of networking domain
  • Aptitude & drive to learn new products, technology & tools
  • Familiar with Adobe FrameMaker or similar authoring tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
