Job Opportunity – Technical Content Writer

We seek a sharp, curious, and well-informed Technical Content Writer to translate complex financial and travel reward concepts into clear, engaging, and actionable content. You will be the voice that helps our users understand loyalty programs, airline and hotel redemptions, credit card hacks, and more while staying aligned with Pneuma’s witty yet informed tone. You will collaborate closely with the product, marketing, and strategy teams to publish high-value content across our blog, onboarding flows, help center, social media, and product education resources

Your Key Contribution Areas

• Translate complexity into clarity – Create step-by-step guides, deep-dive articles, FAQs, product docs, and in-app copy that make points, miles, and fintech workflows easy
• Own key content pillars – Loyalty education, credit-card rewards, point-transfer strategies, and advanced redemption hacks
• Partner with Product & Design – Craft onboarding flows, tooltips, and feature walkthroughs that drive activation and retention
• Keep content fresh & searchable – Apply SEO best practices, structure knowledge-base articles, and update pieces as programs change
• Track industry shifts – Monitor airline, bank, and card-issuer updates; turn breaking news into timely explainers and user alerts • Champion Pneuma’s voice – Friendly, confident, witty (never snarky), always focused on user value. Maintain a consistent tone that feels unmistakably “Pneuma”
• Pitch in for anything Pneuma - Be it FAQ’s, help guides, internal books, documents, video scripts, and other content as needed

Our Ideal Candidate Profile

• 2–4 yrs professional writing or technical documentation experience (fintech, travel tech, or loyalty rewards preferred)
• Demonstrated expertise with credit-card rewards, frequent-flyer programs, and loyalty ecosystems
• Proven ability to simplify data-heavy topics (award charts, transfer ratios, valuation math) for diverse audiences with no fluff and jargon
• Mastery of modern content tools: generative-AI assistants, CMS, basic HTML/markdown, SEO platforms (e.g., Ahrefs, Surfer, SEMrush, Google Analytics, etc.)
• Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Notion, HubSpot)
• Strong research chops, impeccable grammar, and an instinct for clean information design
• Self-guided curiosity, creativity, comfort, and an eye for detail in a fast-moving startup environment
• A collaborative spirit and openness to feedback
• Comfort working remotely and managing your own time like a pro

You’ll have an Edge

• Published bylines in travel-rewards or personal-finance outlets (e.g., The Points Guy, NerdWallet)
• Experience scripting video tutorials, infographics, or interactive calculators
• Familiarity with docs-as-code workflows (Git, Markdown, static-site generators)
