About the Technical B2B Sales Manager role
In your first months, you will:
- Learn about our services, the compliance standards we work with, and understand how the payment ecosystem works.
- Develop a deep understanding of our ideal clients and buyer personas - and contribute ideas on how to best address their key pain points.
- Support the sales team with lead hunting, research, and preparation of information and documentation they need to close a deal.
- Help bring qualified leads to discovery calls through various outreach efforts.
- Shadow senior team members to learn how we pitch, handle objections, and close deals.
Once you’ve successfully mastered the above, you’ll start taking the lead by:
- Running client meetings, leading presentations, and managing your own sales pipeline.
- Delivering proposals tailored to each client’s needs.
- Becoming a trusted advisor to prospects and helping build long-term relationships.
- Using insights and feedback to improve strategies and contribute to team success.
- Collaborating closely with our sales team to improve or develop new sales strategies aligned with our long-term plans.
- Providing regular reports and insights on sales performance, sales forecast, and prospect feedback to inform strategic decision-making;
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
What we're looking for:
- A proven track record as a Team Lead Sales, Sales Manager, or Sales Supervisor in a B2B IT, FinTech, RegTech, cybersecurity, or payments company (3+ years experience in the role is preferred);
- Natural curiosity and willingness to learn technical and specific details about our services in order to present them to IT teams. You will have to learn a lot, but we will gladly help you.
- Interest in sales processes and motivation to expand knowledge through ongoing learning.
- Proficiency in English and familiarity with Google Docs and Sales CRM systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage your time and prioritise.
- Goal-oriented, positive, ambitious and confident personality.
- Proactiveness in process improvement.
- A team player who thrives in a positive environment, where your opinion and ideas are heard, your skills and work are appreciated, and you have opportunities to grow with the company.
