Our client is seeking a Technical Author to take the lead on developing clear,

customer-focused content directly from engineering data in formats like HTML, iOS,

and PDF.

Key Responsibilities

• Create technical documentation for new products and internal procedures.
• Develop machine manuals, technical bulletins, and training materials.

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards.
• Maintain up-to-date publications and support the Change Control process.
• Knowledge of networking technology.
• Ability to work well with technical subject matter experts.
• Stakeholder management.
• Document management and control.
• Great communication skills
• Creating clear and concise material, taking care of editing and proofreading tasks
• Updating and maintaining a library of technical terminology and documentation
• Revising or rewriting existing technical literature
• Researching and gathering technical information and studying target audiences
• Testing whether users understand newly developed material
• Collaborating with engineers, developers and other technical specialists to ensure that they understand the subject
• Staying up to date with the latest trends and developments in the industry
  
  

Skills & Experience

• 5-10+ years’ experience in a Technical Author role.
• Strong writing skills.
• Knowledge of M365 suite and related products.
• Degree in Engineering / IT related field or English.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
