As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Technical Account Manager (MSP) to join our Lockport, IL office in a hybrid capacity (2 days onsite, 3 days remote). This role is ideal for a strategic, client-facing IT professional who thrives at the intersection of technology and business. You’ll work directly with C-level leaders, uncovering opportunities, shaping IT roadmaps, and supporting solution delivery in partnership with our engineering and sales teams.
Day to Day Responsibilties:
• Lead regular client meetings to review IT health, gather insights, and shape future strategy
• Design and present strategic IT roadmaps tailored to client business objectives
• Partner with engineers and sales to develop and present technical solutions
• Identify infrastructure risks, gaps, and opportunities to drive proactive support
• Build deep, trusted relationships with business leaders, including C-level stakeholders
• Collaborate across internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
• Participate in technical planning and internal engineering discussions
Experience and Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP)
• Proven success in consultative client engagement and account management
• Strong understanding of SMB IT environments including networking, cloud, and infrastructure
• Comfortable communicating complex IT concepts to non-technical executive audiences
• Excellent listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Local to the southwest suburbs of Chicago
• Able to pass a background check, drug screening, and complete a hands-on technical assessment during the interview process
