Job Purpose


Our Technical Account Managers (TAMs) are responsible for day-to-day interaction with both clients who have engaged Advent One under a Managed Services Agreement as well as supporting opportunities to win new client's.


With an emphasis on the establishing relationships with key technical & business stakeholders across client organisations, the TAM will work alongside our Client Executives & Service Delivery Managers (SDMs). You'll help define and roadmap our client's future requirements and align them to Advent One service offerings. You'll be also responsible for broadening stakeholder engagement to seek opportunities for scope expansion and to foster growth within your assigned account base.

 

Key Accountabilities


Work within a defined client portfolio (and in support of new opportunities) with emphasis on:

  • Building relationships with key stakeholders throughout the client’s organisation.
  • Identify, nurture and build a roadmap defining opportunities for growth within the client portfolio.
  • Develop an extensive understanding of our client’s technology footprint to ensure recommendations align with the broader business' objectives & goals.
  • Establish a strong understanding of Advent One service offerings and how they deliver business outcomes.
  • Act as an escalation point for client stakeholders where required to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Own opportunities from identification, through solution development (in conjunction with SMEs) and present to stakeholders in support of scope growth & project initiatives.

 

Qualities Required:


  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Professional and respectful communications with Advent One employees and clients.
  • Desire to build new relationships with new and existing stakeholders.
  • Willingness to actively engage with clients (on-site at client location).
  • Effective documentation & communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Autonomous and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to a broad audience, including business and technical stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership in communication to clients around solution capability, outcomes and benefits.


Skills / Qualifications:


  • Experience in pre-sales or a similar client development role.
  • Ability to understand business drivers and articulate solution value to non-technical stakeholders.
  • ITIL certification is desirable.
  • Considerable knowledge of the general principles of IT operations.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
