Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX seeking a Systems Engineer. Responsibilities: * Install, configure, and maintain Erwin DI, DM, and DQ web applications across development, test, and production environments * Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to Erwin platform performance, connectivity, and integrations * Provide day-to-day operational support for application servers, including log analysis, patching, and system updates * Work closely with data governance and architecture teams to ensure metadata, lineage, and quality data is properly captured and maintained * Support user access management, role-based security configurations, and application-level settings for Erwin tools * Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure uptime * Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices * Participate in upgrade planning, disaster recovery testing, and environment tuning for optimal performance * Support automation of administrative tasks and performance monitoring scripts when possible* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field * 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or Application Support Engineer * Hands-on experience with Erwin DI, Erwin DM, and Erwin DQ platforms * Strong troubleshooting experience with web application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat, IIS, WebLogic, JBoss) * Knowledge of system logs, root cause analysis, and performance optimization * Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux server environments
