Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of the IT department supporting enterprise-level data management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a keen attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Systems Engineer

Location: San Antonio, TX (Onsite)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer and troubleshoot Erwin Data Catalog software (DI, DM, DQ).
  
• Support application server operations.
  
• Assist in mapping out data elements and business definitions.
  
• Collaborate across teams to manage and improve systems.
  
  
  
  Minimum Qualifications:
  
  
  
  
  • Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Business Computer Systems, MIS, or related field OR equivalent experience/certifications in hybrid cloud administration.
    
  • Experience in:
    
    
    
    • IT systems and enterprise storage administration
      
    • Windows and/or Linux system administration
      
    • Desktop virtualization technologies
      
      
      
    • Technical troubleshooting and deployment skills
      
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
      
    • Ability to work under time constraints on limited complexity projects.
      
      
      
      Preferred Qualifications:
      
      
      
      
      • Experience or knowledge in:
        
        
        
        
        • Cloud Infrastructure
          
        • Hyperconverged Infrastructure
          
        • Windows/UNIX Virtualization & System Programming
          
        • Enterprise-class system backup
          
          
          
        • Certifications in Cloud, Windows Server, Linux, or Storage Management
          
        • Familiarity with regulatory/compliance standards like FERC/NERC, NIST, or CMMC
