Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Systems Analyst 3 (Data Engineer). This role is focused on supporting the continued development of their technology hub, leveraging agile methodologies across all phases of the SDLC.

Project Scope

The successful candidate will contribute to:

• Infrastructure implementation and configuration
• Design, development, and implementation (DD&I) of the data hub
• Automation of data ingestion
• SQL development and performance validation
• Integration, load, and stress testing
• Internal/external deployment
• Ongoing support and enhancements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support technical development in an agile environment
• Analyze business needs and recommend solutions
• Conduct cost/benefit analysis for proposed solutions
• Perform requirements analysis and write technical documentation
• Develop complex SQL scripts and data transformations
• Automate data workflows using Informatica PowerCenter/IICS
• Collaborate on data model and infrastructure design
• Conduct data validation, performance testing, and debugging
• Support sprint ceremonies and agile project delivery
• Create mock-ups and work closely with business stakeholders
• Maintain technical diagrams and documentation
• Provide input on evolving business requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

• 13+ years: J2EE technologies including JavaScript and JSP
• 13+ years: Front-End/UI development for enterprise-grade applications
• 13+ years: Strong SQL for ETL and data analytics
• 13+ years: Experience with Tomcat Server and web services
• 8+ years: Data validation and quality check implementation
• 8+ years: Creating technical documentation and user guides
• 8+ years: SQL development experience with Snowflake
• 8+ years: Systems analysis for analytics or data warehousing projects
• 8+ years: Technical writing with tools like Visio, Erwin, MS Office, MS Project
• 8+ years: Experience in agile development teams
• 8+ years: Experience using JIRA
• 8+ years: Business analysis experience with TIERS data (CHIP & Medicaid)
• 8+ years: Tableau dashboard integration into web applications

Desirable Qualifications

• 8+ years: Writing efficient, testable code using best practices
• 4+ years: Knowledge of healthcare data security principles
• 4+ years: Experience in performance metrics or BI environments
• 4+ years: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 4+ years: Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
• 4+ years: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent
• 4+ years: Healthcare industry experience
• 4+ years: Experience handling PII/PHI data
