Contingent upon the successful contract award to ASRC Federal We are currently seeking a System Engineer - Level IV to work San Antonio, TX. The System Engineer - Level IV shall perform the following: * Oversees and participates in the design, testing, upgrade and integration of new or existing infrastructure platforms in accordance to the organization's business requirements. * Documents all aspects of the engineering process as it relates to build and configuration, testing, and deployment of infrastructure platforms. * Coordinates changes such as implementation of new infrastructure platforms, upgrades or version increments to existing platforms with system administrators and stakeholders. * Plans, coordinates, and implements security measures to safeguard infrastructure platforms. Performs infrastructure platform modeling, analysis, and planning. * Coordinates with architecture and evaluate new and emerging infrastructure platform technologies and make recommendations for selection of these products. * Assists system administrators with complex troubleshooting issues and if needed coordinates vendor engagements to assists in troubleshooting efforts. * May provide day-to-day operational or administrative duties for deployed infrastructure platforms in lab or production environments. * Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. * Ability to work with other senior technical and user staff to complete projects. * Plans and leads major technology assignments. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. * Level IV performs more independent thinking, complex tasks with little to no supervision compared to a Level III, and may be required to supervise. Requirements * At least one of the following certifications: CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+), Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED), and/or GIAC Certified Incident Handler Certification (GCIH) * Eight (8) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency * Master's degree and/or equivalency * U.S. Citizenship and SECRET clearance required Candidates will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required.
