Roles & Responsibilities * Install, configure, and maintain DB2 databases on AS400 systems. * Monitor database performance and ensure high availability and reliability. * Perform regular database backups and recovery procedures. * Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and errors. * Implement and maintain database security measures. * Optimize database performance through tuning and query optimization. * Collaborate with application developers to design and implement database solutions. * Document database configurations, procedures, and changes. * Stay updated with the latest DB2 and AS400 technologies and best practices.
