Full job description

The IT Supervisor will spearhead the IT department, providing leadership and direction for all technology operations. This role requires a strong background in IT infrastructure, network and security, cloud systems, and phone systems (such as RingCentral). The IT Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT team, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems to support organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor the IT team, setting clear performance goals and providing ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of company data and IT assets by implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage and optimize network operations, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Administer and support cloud systems and services (e.g., Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure), ensuring seamless integration and uptime.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of phone systems, particularly cloud-based VoIP platforms like RingCentral, including troubleshooting, user support, and system enhancements.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations, managing timelines and resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess technology needs, recommend solutions, and provide technical support.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers, including contract negotiations and performance monitoring.
  • Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and generate reports to inform management of IT status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to ensure the organization’s IT capabilities remain competitive and secure.

  • Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in IT infrastructure, network administration, and security, including hands-on experience with cloud systems and VoIP platforms.
    • At least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in an IT environment.
    • Strong technical expertise in network protocols, virtualization, firewalls, backup systems, and cloud infrastructure.
    • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
    • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
    • Commitment to customer service excellence and fostering a collaborative team environment5.

  • Preferred Qualifications

    • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or relevant cloud certifications.
    • Experience in integrating VoIP systems with business tools (e.g., CRM platforms).
    • Familiarity with IT compliance standards and regulations.


    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: Php60,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
