ACCOUNTABILITIES

This is 6 Month Contractor Role.

• Manage material supply with CMs, sub-suppliers, GCM team to make sure material supply can meet FG level delivery requirement.
• Continue drive CMs to improve operational performance to another level.
• Work as a key material contact with UK NPD team including the long lead time risk buy tracking, supply arrangement from device level and component level. Achieve New Product Introduction (NPI) delivery timings. Develop options and scenarios to minimize write off risk.
• Lead process improvement project with CMs, including to provide consultancy for CM ERP go alive. Work with UK project team to launch Rapid Response into CMs to gain better supply visibility to support business growth.
• Tier-2/3 supply capability assessment and process improvement in line with the Procurement Supplier Strategy.
• Other process improvement initiatives defined.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Experience Required

• Line management and/or Project Management experience in Electronics Supply Chain.
• Supply Chain management including Materials Management
• Electronics component industry
• Experience of using IT supply chain planning, scheduling and ERP systems; specific knowledge on SAP R3 and APO, Kinaxis a distinct advantage.

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

• Understanding in Supply planning processes.
• Understanding of Production processes.
• Demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence stakeholders across the supply chain & Factories.
• Business focused and proven change agent with project management skills (preferably in a Prince II environment).

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

• Masters / graduate calibre in Business, Supply Chain Management, Maths or Science.
