Description We are seeking a diligent and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the products produced by our suppliers meet the highest quality standards and specifications. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to manage quality assurance processes, including receiving, PPAP approval, quarantine/MRB, and daily management. Key Responsibilities Support Receiving: Oversee the quality of incoming components and materials, ensuring they meet specified requirements. Collaborate with quality inspectors to conduct inspections and measurements. Review and Approve PPAP: Evaluate and approve Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions from suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Quarantine/MRB: Manage quarantine and Material Review Board (MRB) processes to address non-conforming materials. Implement corrective actions and verify their effectiveness. Daily Management: Conduct daily management activities to monitor supplier performance, address quality issues, and ensure continuous improvement. Maintain detailed records of supplier quality metrics and performance. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in supplier quality assurance or a related role. Skills: Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and inspection techniques. Proficiency in PPAP processes and methodologies. Thorough understanding of quarantine and MRB processes. Familiarity with product design and manufacturing processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ISO 13485:2016 and 21 CFR Part 820 standards. Knowledge of risk management and FMEA. Experience in conducting supplier audits and quality control. Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
