We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, ensuring that everything is running smoothly and efficiently. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, and make a significant impact on the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle including design, construction, and completion.
• Manage and supervise on-site construction team including subcontractors and laborers.
• Ensure all construction activities align with the project schedule, making adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
• Maintain a safe and clean job site, implementing safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk.
• Conduct quality control checks regularly to ensure the work meets the project standards and specifications.
• Liaise with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, and clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Manage project resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of materials, equipment, and personnel.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise, making decisions in the best interest of the project.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building and safety codes.
• Provide leadership and direction to the construction team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
• Mass excavation, grading, earthwork, demolition, underground utilities project experience
• Proven track record of managing large scale construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Proficient in using project management software and technology.
• Certifications in Project Management, Safety Training, and other related fields will be an added advantage.
