Summary
Designation: Assistant Manager PPIC
Job Description
To map out supply chain end to end and monitor supply chain planning from raw material stage to and on-time execution of sales contracts.
Monitor availability of certified raw materials, allocation and production schedules, coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Production, QA & Logistics to ensure on-time deliveries to customers as per contract.
Ensure timely sourcing of organic/certified (Raw Material), RM delivery at pant, RM allocation, production planning & scheduling and certificates till goods are shipped from factory.
Act as an escalation point of contact for sales, sourcing, certification, production and QA teams with purpose of coordinating to ultimately ensure delivery commitments to customers.
Coordination with Sales, Procurement, Certification, QC, QA, & Logistics as Production (plant facility) to ensure timely initiation/conclusion of each stage/step of the supply chain.
Monitor schedules and interfaces with procurement teams on potential raw material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions, ensures that concerned stakeholders are given inputs to ensure on time supply of raw material to plant.
Flag any concerns that may impact timeliness of shipment and escalate to respective functions to ensure timely corrective actions.
Coordinate with certification team and monitor certificate status (organic and FSTS), timely initiation of application/sourcing processes (taking lead times into account) to ensure timely receipt of Monitor container planning & vessel schedules in coordination with shipping team to timely sailing as per sales contract.
Monitor & control inventory across locations and plant. Flag non-moving & slow moving inventory to procurement & sales teams for liquidation of same.
Develop and promote effective co-ordination and synergy with various departments and team members.
Monitor and report metrics for deviation from plan, record data points and use that information to guide identification of root cause and execution of corrective action activities to deliver system capability, improvement, process redesign & implement changes as needed.
Report & present weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, including KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and Operational Metrics.
Experience: 3 -4 years experience working in production planning and inventory control
Industry Type: Experience in the Food/Beverage/Agri Processing industry is preferred
Functional Area: Production
Education: Masters Degree preferably in sciences, engineering, mathematics from a reputed university
Desired Profile
Effective Communicator, good presentation skills, experience in the Food/Beverage/Agri Processing industry, organic if possible
60% and above in graduation and 70% Class 12 & 10 (CBSE/ICSE)
Good analytical skills, should be good in numbers & data handling and managing complex spreadsheets
Process/project management skills considering the complexity of the supply chain and the impact of multiple organic certification related processes on it
Should be effective in dealing with multiple stakeholders and departments
Proactive, anticipates by thinking ahead,
Adaptable and nimble, able to pivot and handle changes to priorities and deadlines, as these can change quickly in the foods/organic business
