Summary

Position Summary

  • Production Planning:
  • Develop comprehensive production plans based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams domestic & global to gather information on order volumes, product specifications, and delivery timelines.
  • Determine production schedules, allocate resources, and set priorities to meet production targets.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and stockouts by aligning production with demand fluctuations.
  • Resource Allocation:
  • Coordinate with Supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for production.
  • Performance Analysis:
  • Collect and analyze production data to assess performance, identify trends, and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate production performance to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Communication:
  • Maintain effective communication channels with various departments locally & globally to ensure alignment on production goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on production progress and challenges.

Profile Wanted

  • Bachelor of Engineering (B:E.) Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 15+ years hands on experience in PPC department locally & globally from Construction equipment Industry preferably Road machineries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to details.
  • Excellent understanding of different systems/modules of a machine and their integration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross functional team.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles & continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Good English language skills. German language skills will be an added advantage.
  • Work experience with SAP B1/SAP HANA 4
  • Integrity, self-motivated, innovative and responsible characteristics
  • Experienced in working for Western companies and understanding of Western mindset and culture.
  • Ability to operate in a fast moving, high growth, entrepreneurial environment, has good communications skills and timely reporting as required.
