Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Structural Engineer to join our team for the structural analysis and design of storage racking structures. As part of the project team, you will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, technical reports, conducting field inspections, and documenting project progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural engineering analysis and design of storage racking structures.
- Utilize computer modeling software for the design and analysis of steel structures, with a focus on storage rack systems.
- Conduct analytical analysis of steel structural systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop engineering solutions and resolve technical challenges.
- Conduct field inspections to assess structural integrity and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Prepare technical reports documenting analysis findings, design recommendations, and project progress.
- Utilize programming skills to enhance efficiency in structural analysis and design processes.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, codes, and regulations related to steel structural engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field. Master's and PhD degrees preferred.
- Proven experience in computer modeling of steel structures, preferably in storage rack systems.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in analytical analysis of steel structural systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to structural engineering applications.
- Familiarity with both hot rolled and cold formed steel structures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
