Job Description

In your new role you will:

Provide TEM/STEM EDX analysis with report based on job requirements by requestors.

• Be the second TEM tool owner and take ownership on the maintenance of the tool and able to solve technical problems with the equipment or software.
• Presentation on the findings and root causes of defects to requestors
• Scrutinizing TEM related jobs and negotiation on the request.
• Has a sound knowledge of specimen preparation methods, such as ionmilling or focused ion beam (FIB).
• Provide high resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy images with accurate measurements.
• Comply with the requirements to meet the satisfaction of requestors.
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor/Master/PhD Degree in Mechanical/Material science/Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics disciplines or relevant qualifications are required
• 3-5 years of experience in microscopy techniques specifically in Transmission Electron Microscope, FIB-SEM or relevant for instance semiconductor or failure analysis field.
• Good knowledge on failure analysis methodology
• Good analytical minds in technical problem solving and inspiration for all possible solutions
• Strive for excellence and focus on the customer mindset and behavior
• A strong analytical mindset with systematic problem-solving techniques
• A high level of self motivation, result focus and ability to work under high dynamic situation.
• Excellent communication with negotiation skills, and good team player
• The following experience/knowledge is advantageous, but not a prerequisite: SEM, EDX, Ion Miller and lamella preparation using FIB.
