Summary

What You Will Do

Lead and/or support Lean Six Sigma projects to improve key business metrics. Monitor key metrics to sustain the benefits of completed projects and maintain a pipeline of improvement opportunities.

Key responsabilities:

  • Kaizen deployment in key production processes
  • Implementation of lean tools such as 6s, standard work, VSM's or similar
  • Lead and/or support assigned Six Sigma projects using DMAIC and/or Lean methodology.
  • Provide data analysis that supports process design and re-engineering of key business processes;
  • Support value stream mapping activities where applicable to identify key improvement opportunities within businesses;
  • Will establish effective manufacturing systems to support operations, with measurable ways to monitor performance;
  • Work with process owners in developing and improving key business process metrics.
  • Support the culture to establish Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Support the development, organization, moderation and document Continuous Improvement workshops and trainings.
  • May lead project teams for Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Set up a platform for the exchange of “Best Practice” Process Improvements.
  • Identify cost reduction projects. Plan and control the implementation together with the departments.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operational process excellence environments required.
  • Experience in medical device, life sciences, or other highly regulated industrial sectors required.
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Practical experience applying DMAIC methodology, and in operational and process excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Design Excellence).
  • Proven experience improving critical business metrics through process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
  • Experience with statistical analysis software (Minitab or equivalent) preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt certification preferred (Operational, Transactional, or Design for Six Sigma).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
