Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sr. Technical Sales Engineer based in Abu Dhabi/UAE, Muscat/Oman. The Sr. Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing pre-sales and post-sales technical support. Key tasks include understanding customer needs, providing technical demonstrations, delivering sales presentations, and ensuring customer satisfaction with technical solutions. Identifying new customers and generate new leads by visiting key end users and contractors’ sites to meet the stakeholders (Maintenance , Reliability, Procurement..)The role also involves collaborating with sales teams to identify opportunities and develop tailored solutions for clients. The Sr. Technical Sales Engineer will be expected to support sales strategies and work closely with engineering teams to address and resolve any technical issues that may arise.

Will report to Project Director/ Business Development director assisted by ITW Regional Manager and team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of UAE proven experience dealing with Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals with good portfolio of key contacts at plants in the same field.
• Will directly be handling the Devcon® brand of maintenance and repair products effectively rebuild equipment to original specifications or prevent failures from occurring in a preventative maintenance program. These include the strongest epoxy and urethane coatings for metal repair, rubber repair, belt repair, corrosion repair and floor repair. The specially formulated epoxy coatings and filler also protect handling & storage equipment from continuous wear and abrasion.

• Experience in the UAE petroleum services industry is a plus

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
