Sr. Full Stack Developer with AI Integration Expertise

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of professional development experience plus demonstrated ability to integrate AI functionalities that deliver measurable ROI. We value practical implementation over theoretical knowledge—candidates who have successfully deployed OpenAI/Anthropic APIs in customer-facing applications, worked with local LLM models like Llama/Mistral for cost-effective solutions, or contributed to frameworks like LangChain will stand out. Experience with AI-enhanced development tools such as Cursor and Windsurf aligns with our efficiency-focused approach. You'll join a stable team with predictable release cycles, working to thoughtfully enhance our proven product with AI capabilities that solve real customer problems while maintaining the reliability our clients depend on.

What We're Looking For

• Work with the development team in various phases of development, including design, implementation, integration, revision control, release and the maintenance of multiple products and systems.
• Writing clean, efficient code that follows best practices and design patterns
• Working closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to turn concepts into production-ready features
• Lead the development of procedures, using test-driven development, which can be utilized within continuous integration practices.
• Follow SharpenCX’s coding and development standards and lead community-driven efforts to update them.
• Facilitate in the growth of other developers through code review and one-on-one interaction.
• Document clearly and effectively within code as well as outside of code.
• Ability to demonstrate proactive architecture-driven approach to problem resolution, strong troubleshooting in a crisis and problem-solving skills.
• Working with a team making decisions about how development environments will be used to their fullest collaboration potential.
• Ability to create and maintain processes and procedures to improve implementation of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Uses negotiation skills and techniques to obtain agreement between different interests, challenges management constructively, bringing different views into the open.
• Transforms mockups and wireframes into usable front-end functionality through developing, testing, and revising web application code.
• Creates components based on user interface/user experience norms, including optimal accessibility, navigation, and cross-browser performance.
  
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of software development experience with a focus on NodeJS / Typescript
• Proven experience in designing and developing highly scalable, event-driven microservice systems
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, etc.)
• Experience with any backend frameworks (Express, NestJS, etc.)
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience in serverless and container-based technologies in AWS (Lambda, Fargate, ECS)
• Familiarity with AWS / Cloud Technologies a strong plus
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (CDK) a strong plus
• Knowledge of agile development, unit testing and continuous integration/continuous delivery methodologies
• Knowledge of securing web applications and adhering to best practices for application security is a plus
