Century Group is in search of an experienced Sr. Estimator to join a team in Dallas, TX or San Antonio, TX. Qualified candidates with years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $105,000 to $140,000 per year.

Job Description

• Attend pre-bid meetings or site visits to determine project parameters and verify existing conditions
• Read and analyze bid plans, technical documents, and specification to determine the full scope of work and bid requirements
• Perform the quantity take-off reports, presentations and pricing effort for internal reviews and budgets
• Collect and analyze data to estimate the time, money, materials, and labor required to complete the project
• Manage comparisons between self-perform estimates and subcontractor quotes and present to team for review
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree preferred, Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or similar work experience
• Heavy civil construction experience necessary
• Viewpoint software experience
• Strong written and verbal communication capability
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Able to adapt to changing priorities
