• Exhibits strong leadership, initiative, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
• Designs and implements data integration workflows, connecting various data sources such as spreadsheets, flat files, and APIs to SQL Server using ETL tools.
• Develops database solutions utilizing T-SQL to support business operations and reporting needs.
• Builds and maintains reports leveraging SSRS.
• Oversees scheduled database jobs, resolving performance and operational issues as they arise.
• Enhances and optimizes existing database structures and queries for efficiency.
• Provides technical support for database-driven applications, identifying and resolving system issues.
• Researches and recommends new technologies to enhance database and information management practices.
• Documents processes, standards, and best practices for database development and maintenance.
• Diagnoses and resolves issues with Access databases and online form tools.
• Experience working with data formats such as XML and JSON, with knowledge of C# being beneficial.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, including versions 2017 and newer.
• Advanced proficiency in T-SQL and database scripting.
• Hands-on experience with SQL development tools, including database management platforms, ETL solutions, and reporting frameworks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Access and VBA programming.
• Understanding of API development and integration is a plus.
• Exposure to MySQL database environments.
• Experience with cloud-based database services, particularly in Microsoft Azure, is highly desirable.
• Strong grasp of relational database principles and optimization techniques.
