Addison Group is working with a Data Collection company in search for a SQL Developer to join their growing team! This is a contract to hire role and fully remote. Please apply to be considered!

What You’ll Do:

• Ingest and integrate data from external APIs into a structured SQL Server (2019–2022) environment
• Write, maintain, and optimize complex stored procedures (up to 1,000 lines)
• Monitor large-scale data pipelines across 3 servers (2 ingestion, 1 data)
• Analyze workflows for efficiencies, performance improvements, and automation opportunities
• Work closely with the analytics team to prepare data for dashboards
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand data needs and ensure high-quality output
• Have the opportunity to grow into Power BI dashboard development over time

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–5+ years of experience in SQL development, data engineering, or database integration
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL and experience maintaining stored procedures
• Proven experience with API integration and data ingestion workflows
• Familiarity with large data environments and handling terabits of data
• Understanding of ETL processes and database optimization techniques
• Interest or experience in data visualization tools like Power BI (a plus)
• Self-motivated, analytical, and comfortable working on project-based tasks

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

• Experience with Power BI or dashboard tools
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Experience in repo, auto finance, or operations-related industries
