Summary

Job Duties: Working with Business users/Clients to gather requirements and design, create, and implement database systems based on the requirements. Design and develop database tables, stored procedures and triggers in SQL Server. Communicating with the clients and end users to gather, document and track known issues and work with the development staff to solve the identified issues. Designing logical and physical database structure to facilitate analysis of data from both operational and client perspectives. Migrating SQL instances from SQL 2014 to SQL 2016 and on-prem SQL to Azure SQL in dev/test/production environments. Designing Architecture for ETL/SSIS packages and Designing SSIS packages with different data sources(SQL, Flat files and XMLs etc.) and loaded the data into target source by performing different kinds of transformations. Work on the performance tuning of the database and Writing queries used for front-end applications (websites, desktop applications, or cloud apps). Development and Deploying of the SSRS reports using reporting services. Maintain Alerts, notifications, Jobs, Job schedules. Monitor connections and locks and performance of SQL server to track historical peak load on servers and proactively managed them. Creating and maintaining Audits, stored procedures and user defined functions as per client requirements and creating database triggers for automation. Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
