The Specialty/Carlstar Division of Titan International is seeking an SQL Developer to work on-site in our Clinton, TN, plant.

The SQL Developer is responsible for building scalable, high-quality, and high-performing web applications on the Microsoft technology stack, including writing and manipulating database queries, stored procedures, and similar tasks for the SQL server environment.

The successful candidate in this role will enjoy working on technology-based projects using critical thinking and analytical skills, and will enjoy working with others to address changing business needs through providing reliable IT support.

Essential Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for the architecture and implementation of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and system integration solutions projects, including technical deliverables and supporting the entire lifecycle of the MES solution development projects.
• Design, develop, and enhance applications and systems using SQL databases.
• Create or update user interfaces using ASP.NET C# and/or JavaScript technologies.
• Work with cross-functional team members to establish workflows, accomplish goals and objectives, and create end-user guidance to support a lean manufacturing environment.
• Ensure availability to address critical business and IT solutions as needed, including outside of regular business hours in emergency situations.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
• 5+ Years of demonstrated successful experience in SQL database administration, including SQL Server 2008 R2 or higher, and SQL Server stored procedures required.
• 3+ Years of demonstrated successful experience in ASP, .NET, VB.NET & C# development required.
• Experienced with JavaScript, PowerBI, and PLC controls strongly preferred.
• Experience with SCADA, bar coding, production scheduling, and JD Edwards preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, teamwork, and communication skills required.
