Solutions Architect : Infra & App Modernization
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure customer success in designing, building and migrating applications, software, and services from x onto the customers preferred cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc)
- Lead deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on public cloud while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
- Be a Searce Cloud evangelist. Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of various services and benefits offered by Searce and partner OEMs.
- Author or otherwise contribute to Searce’s customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, and proof of concepts
- In partnership with the sales team, formulate, and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of cloud platform products and services
- Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Cloud solutions architect community
- The Solution Architect will own and manage a team of architects and orchestrate significant programs in the Google Cloud
Qualification
- 6+ years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of any two of the following languages: Python, Java, Javascript, C/C++, C#, Ruby, Go
- Experience in design, implementation and maintenance of distributed systems
- Experience in application architecture (development, ALM , Agile)
- Experience in application lifecycle, emphasizing Cloud Native or Google First Party services, such as Kubernetes and Serverless and proficiency in API management & microservices framework
- Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly-distributed global cloud-based systems and in application development/application life-cycle management using best practices and industry leading standards
- Experience in the business technology market, working with Sales and Marketing teams in cloud computing or related technical fields
- Ability to deliver results, engage/influence audiences, and identify expansion engagements
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences
- Knowledge of technology solutions, large-scale computing solutions, and enterprise technology stacks
