Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technical Architect to design, develop, and implement highly complex, scalable application infrastructure. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical leadership, ensure compliance with digital accessibility standards, and collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Development:
- Guide teams through hands-on development of code, integrations, and data conversions using .NET, C#, JavaScript.
- Conduct peer reviews of code and technical deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with architectural standards.
- Write detailed technical features, user stories, and enablers to support product roadmaps.
Agile Process Management:
- Actively participate in sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with sprint goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters to resolve blockers and optimize team performance.
Compliance & Accessibility:
- Ensure all digital products meet accessibility regulations (e.g., WCAG) by integrating compliance into design, development, and testing phases.
- Advocate for accessibility in frameworks, libraries, and design systems.
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Update work items, track progress, and communicate risks/blockers proactively.
- Provide clear technical specifications for hardware, software, and system components.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in .NET, C#, JavaScript, and modern application architecture.
- Experience with infrastructure design, scalability, and reliability for enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of data conversions, integrations, and cloud-based solutions.
Agile/Scrum:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Agile environments, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
Accessibility Compliance:
- Demonstrated experience implementing accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, ADA) in digital products.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to mentor developers and provide constructive feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with government or highly regulated industries.
- Certifications in Agile (CSM, SAFe) or accessibility (CPACC, WAS).
