Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior SoftwareTest Engineerto join our quality assuranceteam.The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuringthe quality and reliability of our software solutionsthrough comprehensivetesting methodologies. Focusing on automation, performance, and securitytesting,this role requires an individual with strongtechnical skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and executetest cases and automation scriptsto ensure comprehensivetest coverage.
• Perform regression, system, API, and databasetesting.
• Conduct performancetesting usingtools such as JMeter (or similar) and securitytestingto identify vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designersto ensure functionality aligns with requirements and provide feedback on software quality.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks and integratethem intothe existing system for web and mobile applications.
• Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelinesto streamline automatedtesting processes.
• Monitor performance benchmarks, analysetest outcomes, and work with developmentteamsto resolve issues.
• Conduct risk analysis, uphold QA standards, and provide regular updates on QA progress.
• Address and resolve client queries relatedto product quality.
• Generate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports and propose preventive measuresto avoid recurring issues.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 3to 5 years of experience in QA, including both manual and automationtesting, with at least 2 years of experience using automationtools like Selenium, Playwright, or any relevanttools.
• Proficiency in web and mobile native applicationtesting.
• Hands-on experience in APItesting withtools such as Postman.
• Strong understanding ofCI/CDprocesses and relatedtools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with Jira fortest case management and projecttracking.
• Solid expertise in performancetesting and databasetesting.
• In-depth knowledge of securitytesting methodologies.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Proven experience in leading and mentoring junior QA engineers.
• Experience in an Agiletesting environment.
• Understanding of programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Familiarity with Docker and DevOps practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
• Experience in retaileCommerceorERPsystems is an added advantage.
