Summary

Software Test Engineer

Aurora, CO

ICR has opportunities available for experienced and motivated Software Test Engineers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Extract new features from requirements set by the customer for existing applications.
  • Learn our software application and processes end to end
  • Develop formal test plan for both manual and automated test solutions for validation and accreditation
  • Work closely with development team and program leadership to understand development lifecycle
  • Work closely with development team to understand ongoing software changes, validate changes, and update test procedures
  • Perform manual exploratory testing during development operations


Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SSBI and eligible for SCI access.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Min Four (4) years of relevant experience on projects with similar software processes


Preferred Skills And Qualifications

  • Preferably Selenium or UFT Automation Tool Experience
  • Strong working experience with Java based automation testing tools like Selenium
  • Experience in creating test scripts cases and then automating appropriate tests into new or existing frameworks
  • Experience developing automation frameworks and test suites
  • Good understanding of system and software design with a focus on distributed systems concepts (e.g. high availability, reliability, and scalability).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good organization, decision making, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to provide technical information to teammates and major updates of the project to the customer.


Salary Range: $123,219 - $236,579
