About The Role

We’re looking for a Java Engineer to be an integral contributor in our Engineering team. Reporting to the Technical Lead and using the latest Java technologies to work on both greenfield and established projects, you will support the business to build and scale our cloud native investment platform.

The right person for this role is a big-picture thinker with excellent communication skills who enjoys the challenge of gathering requirements and implementing innovative and intuitive solutions to complex scenarios. You will work collaboratively across all functions of the business, helping to make investing accessible and understanding for all.

Required Experience

• Extensive experience in core Java,
• Experience with Spring Boot Microservices,
• Experience with REST APIs and SQL,
• Experience with AWS systems and services.
  
  

Additionally, it would be good for you to have experience with

• Financial markets,
• Spring Data, Spring Security and Spring AI,
• React / TypeScript front end development,
• Familiarity with using AI,
• Firm understanding of the concepts of Infrastructure as code,
• Serverless architecture.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as JIRA and confluence.
