As a Software Engineer at Xyall, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance software that forms the backbone of our advanced medical products. You’ll collaborate closely with teams in product development and R&D – ensuring our software complies with strict medical regulations such as ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software within our medical systems.
• Translate software requirements into scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless hardware/software integration.
• Ensure all software development complies with medical standards such as ISO 13485.
• Drive technical improvements within the team and ensure best practices are upheld.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, preferably in medical technology or a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, and modern development standards.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python.
• Comfortable working with quality standards and regulations (ISO 13485, FDA).
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
