Job Description

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing embedded systems that integrate seamlessly with hardware. You will work on diverse projects, from developing firmware for IoT devices to designing complex control systems for automotive or industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and system architecture.
• Develop, test, and debug embedded software for various platforms (e.g., ARM, PIC, x86).
• Optimize system performance for speed, memory, and reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
• Integrate software with hardware prototypes and production systems.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Experience with microcontroller programming and RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, VxWorks).
• Strong debugging skills using tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred:

• Experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages.
• Exposure to FPGA development or hardware design.
• Understanding of safety-critical systems (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
