Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for automotive systems (C/C++, RTOS, AUTOSAR).
• Develop and maintain software for microcontrollers (e.g. ARM, Infineon, NXP).
• Integrate software modules and perform unit/integration testing.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to align system architecture.
• Debug and optimize embedded systems in test benches and vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE).
• Work with CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet protocols.
• Document development processes and technical specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software development within the automotive domain.
• Proficiency in C/C++, with solid understanding of microcontroller architecture.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink is a plus.
• Familiarity with AUTOSAR, CANoe/CANalyzer, Vector tools, and diagnostic protocols (UDS, OBD-II).
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a bonus).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of EV systems, ADAS, or autonomous driving technologies.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Prior work with OTA updates, bootloaders, or secure communication modules.
