AutoPayPlus is seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Project Manager with a strong background in Business Analysis to lead and support software development initiatives. The ideal candidate will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the technology team—driving project execution while ensuring alignment with business goals. This is a highly collaborative role within a fast-moving, Agile-based environment.

Background: In a growing company of 100 employees, our development team includes senior and junior developers, QA engineers, IT admins, a PM/BA, and a Dev Manager. We work primarily with .NET and MS SQL Server, using ASP.Net and Angular for front-end and Apache Cordova for mobile app development. Our team uses Azure DevOps for Scrum-based planning, project tracking, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD). Our company culture is grounded in EOS Traction methodology, with mature VTOs, quarterly Rocks, and Level10 meetings.

Duties And Responsibilities

Project Management Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects.
• Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and risks using Agile principles and Azure DevOps.
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business expectations.
• Maintain visibility into team velocity, delivery cadence, and project health.
• Create and manage project documentation, including project charters, roadmaps, and RAID logs.
  
  
  

Business Analysis Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders and the BA to understand and document requirements.
• Translate business needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Validate solutions against business requirements through testing and stakeholder feedback.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure comprehensive test coverage and defect resolution.
• Identify areas for business process improvement and recommend technology-based solutions.
  
  
  

Qualifications

Education:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
  
  

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in project management within a software development environment.
• 3+ years in a Business Analyst or hybrid BA/PM role.
• Proven experience working with Agile Scrum frameworks and tools like Azure DevOps.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in a technology organization.
• Familiarity with .NET-based development, APIs, SQL, and web/mobile software delivery.
