We’re a ambitious startup developing an AI-powered career orientation app. As a lean team with a technical co-founder (CTO), we’re looking for a motivated and capable working student to support our technical development. You'll work directly with the CTO and have the opportunity to make a real impact on our product and vision.

Tasks

Your focus can evolve based on your skills and interests. Possible areas of contribution include:

  AI/ML Application & Integration:
  Working with LLMs (e.g., prompt engineering, response analysis), applying NLP or ML methods, and refining conversational flows.

  
  


• 
  

  Backend & API Development:
  Building and maintaining backend services and APIs using Python (e.g., FastAPI).

  
  


• 
  

  Data Engineering & Management:
  Creating data pipelines, working with Postgres or Neo4j, and improving data quality and structure.

  
  


• 
  

  Mobile Front-End Development:
  Enhancing our Flutter-based mobile interface, integrating backend logic, and improving UX.

  
  


• 
  

  General Engineering Tasks:
  Contributing to deployments, writing tests, participating in code reviews, and supporting internal tooling.

  
  

Requirements

• Enrolled as a student in Germany (Computer Science, Data Science, AI, etc.)


• Strong Python skills


• Fast learner, proactive problem-solver


• Foundational knowledge or strong interest in one or more of the following:


• AI / ML / NLP / Conversational AI


• Backend development


• Mobile app development


• Ability to work independently and take initiative


• English proficiency

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, GCP, NLP libraries, Postgres, Neo4j, Docker, Flutter


• Previous work on software projects (academic or personal)


• Interest in career orientation or education
