The Software Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining both new and existing applications while ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the development lifecycle. You will collaborate with Business Analysts, adhere to technical standards, and participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes.

Position Details:

Location: Prague 3

Work Schedule: 40 hours, 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM + lunch break, Monday-Friday

Position Classification: Full-Time;

Physical Demands: Sitting, typing, walking, standing, and talking on the phone

Work Environment: Cubicle, office environment

Requirements & Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree – focus on computer science, MIS, or equivalent preferred
• Data analysis experience
• Strong knowledge of .NET and SQL Server
• 4+ years of client-based application development experience including design and programming skills
• Ideally development experience under the following technologies: MS Entity FrameWork, ASP.NET / Web Forms, EXT.NET / ExtJS, MS SQL Server, WCF, SQL Server Reporting Service
• Experience with the following languages is required: C#, Javascript, Transact-SQL
• Experience in Unit Testing, basic understanding of Design Patterns, MSSQL Server DBA and mobile app development skills are a plus.

Responsibilities :

• Develop, design, and implement a client software system
• May serve as a member of a project team or as an individual contributor
• Review test procedures and make revisions and refinements to existing procedures
• Responsible for studying and analyzing existing office procedures; preparing system flow charts and logic diagrams to describe existing and proposed operations; testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and documenting programs
• Comply with code reviews and design documentation of own developments
• Assist users with day-to-day difficulties by troubleshooting problems occurring in programs or databases
• May be assigned as project lead responsible for preparing project plans and managing projects to assure objectives are met on time and within cost; evaluate the performance of project team and report performance upon project completion to management
• Assist others in training and orientation of staff and/or users
• Perform systems programming tasks including developing specifications; defining logic, and database design; developing standards, guidelines, and procedures for appropriate use by operations and network support; working with other staff on implementation of new programs, systems, and communications solutions
• Perform and/or support software releases
