This is a summer internship position starting on 1st of July going until the 30th of September.

Mission and Goals

Our team of eight engineers specializes in high-performance microservices deployed primarily in Kubernetes, written primarily in Rust and Python, with a strong focus on anti-scam and anti-phishing features. We build scalable, efficient, and robust services to detect and mitigate online threats.

Objectives:

As a Summer Intern, you will:

  • Work alongside experienced engineers on real-world cybersecurity challenges.
  • Gain hands-on experience with microservices, databases, and cloud infrastructure that is processing thousands of requests per second.
  • Contribute to the development, testing, deployment and monitoring of features in our stack.
  • Learn and apply Kubernetes, Git, Unix tools, and scripting.
  • Explore new technologies and performance optimizations with mentorship from the team.


Competencies:

Must-Have skills

  • Programming fundamentals in any language (Rust, Python, C++, Java, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
  • Understanding of databases (SQL / NoSQL).
  • Experience with Git, Unix, and command-line tools.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.


Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Rust or Python.
  • Experience with cloud computing and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with high-performance and distributed systems.
