We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect/Engineer for one of our trusted, long-term clients in the automotive sector to join their team and support projects. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, focusing on system architecture, software integration, and performance optimization across vehicle platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define software architecture for complex automotive systems (e.g., ADAS, powertrain, infotainment, body control).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and validation engineers to align software architecture with system requirements.
• Lead the software development lifecycle: from requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, integration, testing to deployment.
• Develop high-level and low-level software components in accordance with automotive standards (AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, ASPICE).
• Analyze system performance, and drive continuous optimization.
• Ensure compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to the evolution of software development best practices.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in software architecture roles within the automotive domain.
• Strong experience with embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and low-level programming (C/C++).
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
• Understanding of automotive standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), and ASPICE.
• Experience with system modeling tools (e.g., UML, SysML) and software architecture tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect, EB tresos).
