ABOUT

Chez Mia is a French fine dining establishment located at 8478 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, California. Opened on October 8, 2024, Chez Mia draws inspiration from the South of France, offering guests a transportive culinary experience in the heart of Los Angeles with its blend of high-quality cuisine and a picturesque setting reminiscent of the French Riviera.

Chez Mia boasts an expansive 8,900-square-foot space, featuring a lush outdoor dining area with a 30-seat bar flanked by two striking nine-foot fountains. Designed by the acclaimed firm Fettle, the interior exudes European elegance with gold mohair banquettes, Italian-inspired chandeliers, and whimsical folkloric accents, creating an intimate and romantic ambiance.


ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to lead our online presence and community engagement efforts. This role combines onsite content creation with relationship-building and strategic social media management to amplify our restaurant’s voice and foster an exciting community around our LA-based concept.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Content Creation:

  • Capture high-quality photos, videos, and stories onsite to showcase the restaurant’s food, ambiance, staff, and special events.
  • Develop engaging content tailored to various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) that reflects the restaurant’s unique personality.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in social media to create viral-worthy posts that resonate with our audience.

Community Engagement:

  • Build and nurture an engaged online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews promptly and authentically.
  • Interact with regular customers and VIPs both online and in-person to strengthen relationships and encourage loyalty.
  • Organize exclusive events or promotions for regulars and VIPs to enhance their connection to the brand.

Social Media Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the restaurant’s goals.
  • Plan campaigns around key events, holidays, menu launches, or collaborations to drive foot traffic and online buzz.
  • Monitor analytics to measure performance and adjust strategies for growth.

Brand Advocacy:

  • Act as the face of the restaurant on social media by embodying its values and personality in all communications.
  • Collaborate with chefs, staff, and external partners to tell compelling stories that highlight the restaurant’s unique offerings.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience managing social media for a hospitality or lifestyle brand (restaurant experience required).
  • Exceptional photography, videography, and editing skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or mobile apps.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and their algorithms.
  • Excellent communication skills with a knack for building relationships both online and offline.
  • Creative thinker who can bring fresh ideas to the table while staying true to the brand’s identity.
  • Must be based in Los Angeles and able to be onsite during the restaurant’s operating hours.
