Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Social Media Manager to build and manage our digital presence. This role will operate under the Director of Operations and report directly to company leadership, including the CEO. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for producing engaging content, growing our online community, and showcasing the impact of our work through strategic storytelling and branding.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a content strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok

• Post regularly with engaging photo, video, and written content from job sites and company events

• Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and tags to grow community engagement

• Collaborate directly with the Director of Operations and CEO to align messaging with business goals

• Track and report on KPIs such as follower growth, impressions, engagement rate, and lead generation

• Stay up to date on trends and tools to keep content fresh and relevant

• Highlight company achievements, certifications, new equipment, team members, and public project wins

• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms


Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing social media for a business or organization

• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

• Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.)

• Experience with photography and videography (phone or camera-based)

• Familiarity with social analytics and scheduling tools

• Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to meet deadlines

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus

• Interest or background in tree care, landscaping, construction, or public works is a bonus


Compensation:

• Competitive hourly or salaried pay, depending on experience

• Part-time with potential to grow into full-time

• Flexible schedule, occasional field visits required in Bay Area
