brand to drive brand engagement.
We seek a highly creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our social media team, drive
client brands’ social media presence through compelling, idea-driven content and real-time updates.
This role demands a deep understanding of social media, a strong creative vision, and the ability to
inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of a Social Media Manager:
- Strategy Development & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the
- brand's branding idea (core brand positioning).
- The social media strategies are expected to be organized in a monthly calendar for
- better planning and foresight.
- Strategy development includes audience research, competitive analysis, content
- planning, platform selection, and campaign execution.
- Content Creation & Curation:
- Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality, engaging content across various
- social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Whatsapp
- Channels, etc.).
- This includes brainstorming content ideas, supervising copy & visuals, and
- collaborating with designers and videographers. A keen inclination towards ideation
- and creating highly engaging content is essential.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of social media executives.
Foster a collaborative and growth-driven environment, providing constructive feedback and opportunities for output enhancement & professional development.
- Client Management & Communication:
- Serve as the point of contact for clients regarding social media strategy and performance along with the SM executive.
- Prepare regular performance reports for clients, providing actionable insights and recommendations. This includes tracking, analyzing key social media metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, website traffic, conversions) & campaign effectiveness while identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage social media budgets effectively where required and relevant
- Confidently advise clients on best practices and strategic direction.
- Trend Monitoring & Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies.
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage new platforms and tools to enhance brand engagement.
- On-the-Field Engagement:
- Be willing and able to participate in on-the-field activities, such as photoshoots, video shoots, and client events, as needed. This may involve collaborating directly with the team and clients on location.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments within the agency (e.g., creative, brand management) to ensure integrated and cohesive campaigns.
